Dementia care is an integral part of our home care service in Goolwa. We customise a home care plan to include services that specifically support the person living at home with dementia. For people needing some additional care, we offer residential dementia and respite care at St Louis On Sea in Victor Harbor. St Louis on Sea is an eight-bed specialist nursing home located right across the road from the beach. Our carers are trained in the Montessori approach to aged care and dementia care.

St Louis established Australia's first dementia-specific community aged care packages in 2003 for low level care at home, and extended this to high level care at home in 2006.

Our registered nurses and care staff are all thoroughly trained in the provision of care to those living with dementia and the organisation is constantly reviewing and integrating the latest best practice dementia care techniques available.
